When we fitted the Ignitech to Trevs bike it worked out of the box
and as far as I know, the other guys here who have them had the same
experience.
I did connect the comms port to my PC before we fitted it but that was out of interest
and I made no changes prior to fitting.
After we fitted it I connected the comms lead and played with the rev limiter
function and dropped it to 5000 to see if it worked and it did
I then reset it to 10000 again.
I'm not sure why you're having problems
I have a Eurosport motor in my bike and Trev lives 120 miles away from me
so have nothing to hand to compare it to
but before I rode up to fit it, I copied all the software to my PC and have a copy of
the IGN file which I have attached
As this is the IGN file that works well in Trevs bike
I can only suggest you copy this file to your unit and see if that works
One other guess I will make is
I know the igntitech sense the state of the kill switch and when it goes low
it cuts power to the unit
As they sometimes cause problems by shorting to earth I wonder if the Ignitech is
gettign a false signal?
Checking the Black/white wire is going very high in RUN and very low in OFF
may help determine this
I did get the coil wires the wrong way round at first but it didnt run at all
until I swapped them over
If none of this things work I gues you will have to contact Ignitech
I hope you get it fixed and will be interested to find what the problem was
so please let me know

One of the US guys recently fitted an Ignitech and posted many pics on the US forum
Using the suppiled Ignitech wiring info and comparing it with the pics he posted may help
determine if the connections are all correct

the orange is connected to pin 1 ( pink on CX)
the White is connected to pin 10 ( yellow on CX)
and both yellows to Pin 9
etc
