Hello Carsten,
use the T[L|R] marks, the "T"is for "Top".
If you're not sure you're understanding the manual (you've got one I suppose?) find the correct position like this :
- start on the right
- put a finger on the inlet valve so you can feel any movement
- slowly turn the crankshaft in the normal direction
- when you feel the inlet valves closing watch ut for the TR mark which should appear shortly after the inlet closing
- at TR the R piston is now at the top of the compression stroke, both in and out should be closed
- adjust valve clearance
- repeat for L(eft)
